Men

“Support, challenge and camaraderie: the ingredients that help a man become a better person as a whole, grounded in his masculinity.”

At some point in my life, circumstances led me to realize that I could intentionally access both my masculinity and my femininity. That was when I discovered the work of David Deida, whose work I have been studying and learning from for approximately twenty years through men's groups.

Today's world, in addition to becoming increasingly polarized, has constructed a narrative in which the masculine and the feminine are associated more with ideology than with practice. In the process, attention to polarity has been lost—perhaps one of the most accessible sources of development.

Through my work with men, I have discovered that support, challenge and camaraderie are essential ingredients for men to become better, more integrated people, grounded in their masculinity.

In my one-on-one work, as well as in the men's groups I promote—and fundamentally in all the work I do—I learn from them, and I learn about myself.
